Brief Choice

From looking at the variety in the brief the exam board has published for our A2 media studies, i was initially drawn to creating a music video. Music for me is a huge part of my life, and a music video goes hand in hand with the actual track often this creates a whole new depth to the song itself.

Music videos for what i know about the conventions already, can either follow the songs narrative clearly or can be complete random to the song, either can create a different vibe for the track. I think that the work done by music directors helps to create a certain type of genre.

So i myself has decided to create music video, i am yet to chose the genre and my group but i feel a music video would be the most appropriate best suited to my skills.

Initial Meeting

After personally having an idea of creating a music video for my A2 media piece, i got together with some friends with similar ideas, and we agreed to work together creating a music video.

The group consists of Jordan Saville, Sam Avery, Jack Osman and myself.

We are yet to decide what track or genre we will create a video too, but we will start to look at each of the brief that would suit us a whole group with our cllective skills, i personally will be puting the idea forward of creating a music video, but i will listen to the other ideas of the group incase there is another brief more suited.
