Production Schedule revised

This is the revised schedule of film, this is how we organising the extras and the main characters. To organise the filming events especially the party scenes we needed to create events on facebook, following the filming schedule.

Final ideas for last shoot

Shooting Schedule 4:
Thursday 11th March
Hopefully this will be our final shoot. Here we expect to film the remaining shots, which include;

Flashbacks:

* Jack getting dragged out of the strobed party (POV).
* Jack being led upstairs (POV).
* People smoking outside and then Jack being offered drugs by a man in an animal masks.
* Jack taking the drugs, in pill form.
* Jack back in party dancing away in a hallucination state, with everyone surrounded round him staring.
* Argument/fight in the party involving Jack.

Verses:

* Jack going downstairs in the early hours of the morning after getting dressed, to find party goers scattered about, in an untidy fashion.
* Jack walking to the kitchen to make himself a drink, but is trembling in a state of shock. Someone comes up to him to see if he is alright, Jack then looks up and they are wearing an animal mask.
* Jack rushing out to the corridor to be greeted by four party goers draped in animal mask, surrounding him, until it becomes to much for Jack and he storms out of the house.
* Jack then walking outside across the road to get hit by a car

this however may change due to our decision to cut the music by 30 seconds.

New and final digipak

Finally after a lot of talking and anaylsing the intitial work we did with the black and white album artwork we have decide to get rid of the whole theme and look into a more appropriate look. We looked into theactual shots from the video and actually had a good idea to include an old fashioned TV and more imagery of the band to create a better look to link in the Delphic and the style of the video with the very indie genre we thought this look would be more fitting. Above is the final cover and both the imagery of the band and colour goes well with the styling of delphic and the track doubt.







This is the reverse of the CD album artwork for the album the track listing and imagery of a close up shot of two of the band members. We decided to blur the images in after effects in photoshop to be more fitting with the image on the front. I think that the look fits well with the front cover. The font used for the track listing is similar to that of all the font those throughout the artwork and on the website.



This is the inside cover on the left hand side we decided to feature the animals masks that are of part of the imagery we also then went on the to do the special thanks wording at the bottom.

Continuous work on digi-pak

The look and style that we wanted meant that we need to manipulate the different images to allow us to get the look we wanted for the imagery on the CD cover. The process of creating this type of image meant merging using various tools through photoshop. This idea that the original images of the band were manipulated to create the ideal look was the idea of Jack who said maybe a picture of the band was more effective than just a basic black and white spiral pattern.



The original image of the band was imposed onto the picture we took of the TV to use the analogue fuzziness of the the screen as the background.



Finally this is the two images merged together to give the final look, We are pleased with the imagery and will theme onto the following areas of the digi- pak and CD cover.

Inside Cover
The idea of using another image of the band incorporating the masks was something that came to us whilst editing the from cover, i think this ties in with the front cover well and the narrative of the video. The masks can be seen as a different part of the video and isn't fully understood until it is thought about conceptually so i think by using this images again, it ties in the band and the narrative well.

The imagery we manipulated on photoshop to blur the image fitting in the image on the front cover, this means you have to concentrate on the image to work out what it is showing.




Back panel



This is the original image for the back panel, basically we have decided to take a segment of of the image and manipulate it to create the same look to fit in with the other images and colours on the digi-pak.



This has allowed us to continue the theme throughout and uses another image of the band even if it is a segment so this highly features the band throughout the cover which the other digi-pak and CD cover doesn't. In hindsight i think this is a better idea it allows the band to be featured and being new artists this is the kinda of imagery and exposure they need to constantly be having to be recognisable.

Currently we are still working on the development of the black white theme album artwork. We are currently still trying to develop this idea but still cannot create the right look or feel the artwork to co-inside with the them and narrative of the music video its self.







This the the reverse of the album artwork looking at the track listing at the back of the CD Case, we have manipulated and worked with the images constantly and we have developed these ideas as far as we can from the perspective of the final digipak.





When reviewing this album artwork as a group we are still not happy with the imagery colours, and feel further development is still needed in order to create the right look for acolyte we have run as far as we could of with this idea, and now need to scrap it and completely start again. Even though this a lot of work to be doing at such a late stage we feel it will be beneficial.

Shooting x 3

On this day we plan to film everything we can explained in the 'teacher feedback 3' post that includes just the protagonist (Jack Clegg) and his mysterious lover. This will be the bulk of verse one and part of verse 2, as well as almost all of the flashback scenes.

Shots we will need include:
For the verses:
Jack waking up to discover what he has just done. ie. look down at a pile of clothes and a condom.
Leaving the bedroom to go to the bathroom
Looking at himself in the bathroom mirror to see a bear mask stare back at him.
Shower scene, Jack 'washing away the guilt'.
Coming back to his bedroom to get dressed.
Flashbacks (all from my point of view):
Jack being pushed onto his bed by me.
Undressing each other.
Various different sexually suggestive positions, without revealing my identity.
